connection constantly reseting

When I turn on sharing on the network my connection contiually resets itself. Any suggestions? It does not do this when the setting is set to block. Connected to a Dlink DI-624 via cat 5 cable. Thanks

Same issue.. DHCP seemed to play some role as well. Change it to a static IP and so far the issue has gone away. I haven't attempted to try sharing again. FYI.. same Dlink model. "Chris Schone" wrote in message

Same thing for me. I was using a D-Link wifi 54g USB adapter, which worked fine in WinXP. After the upgrade, it looked like it couldn't obtain an IP address from my router. I also turned to static IP, and that seems to work (at the moment).
Could it be something D-Link-specific?
